Josh Vanover is a expressive photomotaz
artist which is focusing on the use of repetition, human photography
including own portraits at times.
The first image expresses a profile man
image which is fragmented into couple pieces and put in order, all
following into two fragments that represents two different techniques
in a expression of one emotion, sadness. This can be discovered by
the element that's overtaking the image, fragment of sad mouth area
which is also explored within a fragment contributing under skin
area, bones only. Second image gives an impression of the graphics
ripping apart the human profile image using geometric shapes only.
Within a bigger fragment the face expression is repeated where it
gives a bigger impact on the outcome interpretation. The third image
gives an impression of ripping the face apart or in my understanding
a new beginning by the way it looks like taking off one skin layer,
getting rid of the past. The last image uses geometrical repetition
again to create the overall mood impression stronger. I am planning
to take few of this artists elements forward for my final outcome, in
among the others, the separation used throughout the use of geometry.
I like the way how small fragments putted in his work make a massive
impact within the final understanding of the emotions represented.
